Alex Qu is a New York–based screenwriter working across virtual production and real-time 3D storytelling.

She is pursuing an MPS in Virtual Production at NYU Tisch (expected May 2026), with training in narrative development, producing, on-set workflow, art direction, and post-production. She previously earned a BFA in Dramatic Literature at Shanghai Theatre Academy, focusing on screenwriting, story adaptation, script analysis, and directing.

She has also worked across industry-facing roles, including venture capital program support at Shanghai International Film Festival, copyright & IP development at Linmon Pictures, and video content coordination at SMG Pictures & Wings Media.

Tools include Unreal Engine, Maya, Runway, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
